WMRCC’s new project Bridging the Gap is a unique initiative to eradicate gender inequality and feminization of poverty. Bridging the Gap Project allows to overcome these barriers experienced by women entrepreneurs in terms of accessing loans and community resources to gain success and reach their potential by not only serving with their talent but also opening up prosperity for themselves.
In order for the business to reach its potential, Bridging the Gap Project will provide:
• Business Resources
• Accessing and Securing Loans
• Consultation Sessions
• Business Mentorship
• Experts Advice
It features business resources, securing loans, consultation sessions and business mentorship to provide tools take your business to reach its potential. The activities are regulated by gender analyst to mitigate existing gender inequality.
Gender equality is defined as women and men enjoy the same status and have equal opportunity to realize their full human rights and potential to contribute to national, political, economic, social and cultural development, and to benefit from the results.
It is a common predicament amongst women of diverse backgrounds to experience various systemic and institutional barriers contributing in gender inequalities which impedes with their success as entrepreneurs.
